Passing It On:

The economic upturn our nation has enjoyed since 2014 has not benefited all Idaho residents. As of January 2018, there were 2,012 Idahoans living on the street. Many are family households, veterans and students. Public schools have reported over 7,000 students who have experienced homelessness during the 2016-2017 school year.

We are also seeing corporate attempts to steal or limit access to public land. Teddy Roosevelt said it best: “Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children’s children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches or its romance.”

We believe that all who are able should help to address these issues. Donohoe Law Office contributes a percentage of all fees to charities that either help people in need or preserve our national heritage. When a case has been resolved, we ask the client to designate a charity from a list including the Boise Interfaith Sanctuary, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, The Nature Conservancy and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. This contribution comes from our attorney fees and does not impact the monetary award the client receives.
